Dangers of Plastic Surgery

Aging does not only affect the rich and famous, but also affects millions of people, average and poor alike. And the desire to be beautiful and young again is felt by all people in all walks of life. This common desire has lead to plastic surgery becoming more and more acceptable as a means of restoring lost beauty. In fact, a recent survey conducted by Parenting magazine showed that 77% of mothers would choose to undergo plastic surgery if money was not an issue. Indeed, people have become more open minded about plastic surgery than they have been in the past, but one should never forget the dangers of plastic surgery.

Results of bad plastic surgery have circulated through all forms of media, underlining the need to choose one’s doctor wisely and conscientiously. In fact, average people are not the only ones who fall victim to awful plastic surgery but celebrities too have been victims of it.

One of these celebrities is Priscilla Prestley, widow of rock and roll sensation Elvis Prestley. Prestley had silicone injected in her face by her doctor, who turned out to be a fake. Of course, we should also never forget Michael Jackson’s delicate nose, Tori Spelling’s beach ball boobs, and Kenny Roger’s pop-eyed look, all examples of bad celebrity plastic surgery.
